Autumn Fishing Tackle Deals UK: FTB Up to 70% Off

Autumn is when a lot of us start sorting the tackle box. The pike season is warming up, the winter carp sessions are not far off and half your gear needs replacing. Fishing Tackle and Bait (FTB) has an Autumn Sale on with up to 70% off selected products. They are calling it "All Stock Must Go", and there are thousands of products in it.first FTB Autumn Sale post

I already covered the start of this sale in my first FTB Autumn Sale post. This one is a fresh look at how to actually use it, so you do not just scroll for an hour and buy nothing.

Autumn fishing tackle deals UK: where to start

Up to 70% off sounds great, but the biggest discounts only apply to selected items. Some brands are excluded too. So go in with a list. Here is how I would split it.

1. Replace the boring stuff first

Hooks, line, leads, rig bits, spare spools of mono. These are the things that run out right when you need them. A cold night on the bank is a bad time to find your last hooklink. Sale prices on consumables are the easiest win because you will use all of it.

2. Pike and predator gear

Lure season is on. If you fish for pike, perch or zander, have a look at traces, wire, unhooking tools and soft lures. Tangled-up old trace wire is one of those jobs we all put off. Stock up while it is cheap.

3. Winter carp sessions

Carp fishing does not stop when it gets cold, it just gets quieter. Think smaller hookbaits, finer end tackle and warm kit for you. Check the clothing and bank gear sections as well as the terminal tackle. A decent warm layer will do more for your session than another new rod.

4. Big-ticket items, with care

Reels, rods, bedchairs and bivvies can have the biggest savings in pounds. They are also the easiest way to waste money. Compare the sale price with what you would normally pay, read a few reviews, and only buy it if you genuinely need it.

Ready to look? Here is the sale page. Stock moves fast in clearance events, and the sizes and colours you want tend to go first. The page will show how long the sale runs, so check it before you plan your order.

What you get on top of the discount

FTB also lets you earn points on every order, so you get a little something back on top of the sale price. It is online only, and some brand exclusions apply. Always read the product page before you add to basket, because the discount you see on the product is the one that counts.

A few tips so you do not overspend

Make a list before you click. Set a budget and stick to it. Buy the things that you would have bought anyway, rather than things that are just cheap. And if you are not sure about a size or fit, check the product details first.

Think about postage too. If you are buying lots of small bits, one bigger order usually works out better than three small ones. Put your list together over a cup of tea, then order once.

Final thoughts

A sale like this is worth a proper look if you are restocking for autumn and winter. You do not need to buy everything, just pick up what you will actually use. If you want to browse, the link is below.
